The short answer

HDPE (high-density polyethylene) is a solid, marine-grade material used on boats and docks because it stands up to water, sun and salt air. It can’t rust, rot or swell, it resists warping and fading, and we pair it with stainless steel hardware. Our HDPE cabinetry is backed by a lifetime warranty.

What is marine-grade HDPE?

HDPE stands for high-density polyethylene. In its marine-grade form it’s the material trusted for boat interiors, docks and marinas: places where water, sun and salt air would destroy wood and corrode metal.

HDPE cabinetry is solid material all the way through, with the color built into the material itself rather than painted on. There’s no wood core to soak up water and no coating to peel.

Built for what Florida throws at it

  • No rust or corrosion. HDPE can’t rust, and our cabinets use stainless steel hardware.
  • No rot or swelling. Rain, humidity and pool splash don’t soak into it.
  • No warping. The material keeps its shape through Florida heat.
  • UV-stable color. Made to resist fading from the Florida sun.
  • Easy care. Soap and water keep it looking new.

Compare that with the alternatives. Wood cabinets swell, rot and need refinishing. Metal cabinets can corrode in salt air and humidity, and get hot in direct sun. HDPE avoids all of it, which is why it’s our standard for every kitchen we build.

A lifetime warranty, right from the start

We’re confident in this cabinetry because of what it’s made of, and we back it with a lifetime warranty. Your outdoor kitchen is designed to look pristine for years to come, so you can enjoy it instead of maintaining it.

More living space and real value

In Florida you can cook and entertain outside most of the year, so an outdoor kitchen doesn’t just add an appliance. It adds a room. The lanai becomes a true extension of your home, a place where everyday dinners and big gatherings happen.

That’s why an outdoor kitchen is one of the smartest investments you can make in a Florida home. Dollar for dollar, few upgrades add as much usable living space and everyday enjoyment, as long as it’s built right. A kitchen that rusts, rots or fades loses its value fast. One built with marine-grade HDPE keeps it.

Planning your layout

A great outdoor kitchen is designed around how you cook. We plan:

  • The cooking zone: built-in grill, side burners, pizza oven, and a vent hood for covered lanais.
  • Prep and serving space: enough counter on both sides of the grill to actually work.
  • Water and cold storage: sinks, outdoor refrigerators, ice makers and beverage centers.
  • Storage: drawers and cabinets for tools, plates and supplies, so you’re not running inside.
  • Utilities: where power, water and gas can run, planned before anything is built.
